Brief introduction :
The Engineering and Utilities Manager is responsible for the overall management of Utility equipments operation & maintenance at Sanand plant. Successful management will be accomplished through active involvement and development of work teams appropriate coaching and feedback effective resource utilization and visible team leadership.
Responsibilities :
Utility & Maintenance Management: Oversee utility ETP and new line installations ensuring effective maintenance through planning (PM & AMCs).
Regulatory Compliance & Projects: Own all regulatory permits and testing for utilities weights and measurements and plan and execute CEB projects.
Continuous Improvement & Partnerships: Drive continuous improvement in utility maintenance processes focusing on asset utilization and operational efficiency and foster partnerships with vendors and engineering teams.
Safety & Quality Initiatives: Lead EOHS initiatives to reduce TRR and LWD rates and drive quality by maintaining critical utility equipment and ensuring timely SOP reviews.
Factory Performance & Reliability: Implement FP&R standards within utility teams emphasizing People Capability Visual Workplace Autonomous Maintenance and Continuous Improvement.
Financial Management: Contribute to Fund-the-Growth Savings by decreasing energy costs and actively participating in FTG ideation sessions and improve factory cash flow by managing operating maintenance capital and inventory expenses.
Required Qualifications :
Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in FMCG/Pharmaceutical industry
Experience and understanding of facility maintenance statutory and regulatory requirements of Utilities and ETP. Experience in Automation/ Digitalisation will be preferred.
Preferred Qualifications :

Relevant experience in FMCG industry
