Job Description
Job Title: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) - ISUDT
Location: Soledad California
Employment Type: Part-Time Contract (6-9 months with potential for extension)
Pay Range: $67.75 - $69.75 per hour
Position Overview
A contract opportunity is available for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) to provide counseling and mental health support as part of the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment (ISUDT) program in a secure clinical environment in Soledad CA. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling competitive pay and the potential for temp-to-perm conversion into a state position with full benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments and provide brief counseling individual therapy and group interventions
- Support the ISUDT program through collaborative care planning and interdisciplinary coordination
- Perform evaluations to guide transitional care planning and connect patients with community resources
- Develop and contribute to treatment and care plans with measurable therapeutic goals
- Address needs within the context of marriage couples family systems and individual biopsychosocial models
- Participate in case conferences training sessions and interdisciplinary meetings
- Accurately document patient progress and coordinate discharges or transfers with other clinical programs
- Communicate effectively with care teams and advocate for patient needs across disciplines
Required Qualifications
- Experience: At least 12 continuous months of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years
- Licensure: Active MFT license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (required)
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- ID: Valid photo ID Drivers License or Passport
