Strictly following recipes and pastry techniques to produce products with consistent taste and presentation.
Managing the preparation of raw ingredients for pastry production and ensuring cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Maintaining product quality to meet the 5-star hotels standards.
Collaborating with other kitchen teams to create exceptional culinary experiences for guests.
Managing inventory of pastry ingredients and reporting needs to the procurement department.
Assisting in training and development of junior pastry staff or kitchen helpers.
Ensuring cleanliness safety and hygiene standards are met in the kitchen according to hotel guidelines and HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) regulations.
Participating in menu development and enhancement for pastries keeping up with trends and guest preferences.
Ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards and guest expectations for presentation.
Qualifications :
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in Hospitality Culinary Arts or Pastry from a reputable institution.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef Demi Chef Pastry or similar position in a 4-5 star hotel or fine dining restaurant.
Skills:
Expertise in preparing and producing high-quality pastries breads and desserts.
In-depth knowledge of pastry techniques ingredients and kitchen equipment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure without compromising on quality.
Skilled in pastry decoration and presentation.
Time management and multitasking abilities.
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A positive creative and detail-oriented personality.
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (English is a plus).
