Requirements:

The salary will be based on student enrollment.

  • Masters degree in education.

  • Specialist in Mathematics at the Primary/Junior Division; second specialist an asset.

  • Facilitated ongoing professional development focused on implementing Ontario Mathematic Curriculum at the elementary level in the past two years.

  • Current leadership position in facilitating professional learning to teachers and administrators with respect to Mathematic teaching and learning at the elementary level.

  • Involved in a professional network in Mathematics.

  • Experience facilitating Primary/junior Mathematics AQ.

  • Membership or leadership position in Mathematics education professional organization.

  • Has been responsible for developing and implementing an elementary Mathematics program in an Ontario classroom during the last 5 years.

  • Capability of applying the Ethical Standards and the Standards of Practice of the Teaching Profession in Ontario.

An acceptable level of education/experience may be considered equivalent to the required educational qualifications and/or demonstrated experience.
