About the role.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented leader to champion the implementation of our Manufacturing Operating System MDI (McCain Driving Impact) within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. MDI is McCains unified approach to running our manufacturing plants designed to deliver operational excellence by empowering and developing our people.
What youll be doing.
- Lead the deployment and adherence of MDI standards and systems across the site.
- Coach and develop factory teams line leadership and operators to build capability and sustain production standards.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and standardization through effective change management.
- Conduct health checks and maturity assessments to ensure process execution aligns with defined standards.
- Share best practices and leverage learnings across sites through Element Governance.
- Provide solutions and guidance to overcome implementation challenges serving as Site Element Owner for select elements as needed.
What youll need to be successful.
- Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing with a high school diploma required; post-secondary education in business engineering or science is an asset.
- Proven experience leading and coaching shop floor teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong cross-functional knowledge spanning operations maintenance and quality.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to drive actionable insights.
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean Production Systems and change management principles.
- Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
