Job Description
ESS provides multi-service capability to major companies and organisations operating in remote sites gold mines and coal fields. We provide vital workplace support for people working in some of the most isolated terrains in the world from oil rigs in the North Sea to gold mines in the Australian Outback. Due to anticipated growth across our flagship portfolio in Central QLD we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join the team at Banksia Village in Blackwater
The Position
You will be responsible for leading a small team within our housekeeping department to ensure facilities are clean and comply with our contractual obligations.
You will be a driven individual that is able to train lead and motivate your team working alongside with management to achieve desired results.
- 9/5 Roster (10 hours)
- Medium sized camp
- Accommodation and meals provided
- The role is drive-in/drive-out 6:00am - 4:30pm
The Person
- Experience in a similar supervisory role leading a large diverse team
- Commercial experience (Hotel Mining or Resort environment preferable)
- Ability to lead a successful team and have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility of the teams overall performance
- Commitment and ability to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create implement and evaluate training and procedures
