Job Description
An Integration Engineer on the Swift Platform Experience Team is responsible for integrating software across Apple operating systems. We facilitate the movement of source code through the development lifecycle for current and upcoming releases. We are responsible for ensuring build quality and working with software engineers QA and project managers across many teams. Youll join a growing team of integrators as part of a larger quality engineering organization where youll find an encouraging and growth-focused culture. Youll have an opportunity to focus and specialize on a specific framework while contributing to a rich set of processes automation and tools used to improve workflows across the team. You will be encouraged to write and speak about the results of your work with multiple audiences.
- Excellent knowledge of source code management concepts and systems (Git)
- Familiar with continuous integration and related systems (Xcode Cloud Jenkins etc.)
- Experience with Swift and/or Objective-C
- Experience with scripting languages (Ruby Python Bash)
- Bachelors degree in a software engineering field or equivalent experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed to interact closely with development teams management project management and other organizations at Apple
- You have a passion for quality with great attention to detail and are upbeat and adaptable with a results-oriented attitude
- Experience with process design and/or engineering project management a plus
At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $101200 and $168800 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
