Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for supply chain optimization Clariants Business Unit Catalysts is seeking a talentedJunior Scheduler EMEA (m/f/d) to join our this dynamic role youll be at the heart of our production planning operations ensuring efficient resource utilization across multiple plants while maintaining optimal inventory levels and meeting customer demands.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Production Excellence: Execute scheduling activities across our plants in Italy (Novara) Germany (Moosburg & Heufeld) and South Africa (Sasolburg & Richards Bay) within a 3-month horizon ensuring optimal equipment utilization and timely product availability.
  • Master Resource Planning: Track and adjust schedules according to production capacity raw material availability and business priorities to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Inventory Optimization: Determine raw material requirements monitor inventory levels and maintain agreed safety stocks to support continuous production.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain effective communication with global planners supply chain management customer service quality production maintenance and logistics teams.
  • System Management: Ensure data accuracy in our ERP and Kinaxis systems for automatic availability checks and efficient production planning.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to department cost-saving initiatives support the development of new planning systems and help create standard operating procedures for supply chain processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3 years of experience in production planning supply chain or production environments.
  • Proficiency with SAP Materials Management/Warehouse Management or other ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong skills in Excel PowerPoint Power BI and SharePoint.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Creative thinking and innovative approach to challenges.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Business-level English proficiency; German a plus.
  • Customer-focused mindset with high service orientation.
