TA Team Lead

A TA Team Lead implements medium to high complexity level customer requirements in the system in addition to handling a team of 4-6 Technical Analysts/ Sr. Technical Analysts in addition to 1-3 Lead TAs. Capable of providing technical guidance and responsible for building the skill of the team and ensuring quality of delivery.

Performs the following tasks:

1. Understand the requirements
2. Prepare Design document
3. Unit Test case preparation
4. Configuration
5. Unit testing
6. Status Updates
7. Log Analysis

In addition to above:

1. Design Epic level configurations
2. Design configuration user stories
3. Review configuration done by the team
4. Collect regular feedback from PMs and identify areas of improvement and work on upskill/ cross-skill requirements

6. Plan L&D for team members with L&D Coordinator
7. Track Progress/ Improvement
8. Responsible for Career Progression of team members
9. Team engagement
10. Keep the Skill Matrix updated for all team members
11. Skill building of team members - If Lead TA is not available to answer queries team members will approach the team lead
12. Responsible for HR processes leaves and performance appraisals
13. Efficiency Quality Productivity Analysis Raise red flag along with mitigation plan
14. Ensure that the team goals are achieved
15. Develop a L&D backlog for each of the team members

Pre - requisites Knowledge & Experience

1. Experience of 8 to 10 years
2. Experience in insurance industry preferred.
3. Demonstrated analytical problem solving and attention-to-detail skills
4. Ability to learn new and complex topics quickly
5. Ability to work collaboratively with a team and as an independent contributor
6. Professional approach
7. Experience with web-based application designs
8. Familiarity with Microsoft Power Point Project Visio Excel Word
9. Bachelors Degree required; Computer Science Mathematics Management
10. Experience with data modelling and use cases (UML or similar) preferred
11. Structured programming language background preferred
12. Experience/ Exposure to relational databases Web development and experience in Java or XSLT coding
13. Familiarity with the concepts of Service Oriented Architecture Web Services / SOAP and Meta Model based architectures preferred
14. Guidance and mentoring skills Experience leading mid-sized teams of 15-20
15. Task management Planning and managing capabilities
16. Project wide perspective
17. Adaptability and ability to work under pressure
