About the role.
The Electronic Technician Programmer Lead will lead and/or instruct others with the installation repair and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and equipment.
What youll be doing.
- Responsible for shift performance and the completion of scheduled maintenance work on all plant processing and packaging equipment.
- Provide support during commissioning of new installations and other automation projects.
- Possess the technical knowledge and ability to design or repair all types of plant network systems.
- Ability to design install and troubleshoot PLC control systems and associated control devices using current McCain programming standards.
- Performs PLC programming on project type tasks from narratives and/or verbal instruction.
- Assist with the assessment of candidates and training of new and existing team members.
- Lead instructs and assists others in the safe execution of maintenance work as directed by the Electronics Supervisor..
What youll need to be successful.
- Bachelors degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or technical school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to program Allen-Bradley PLCs and networks programming and design of HMI systems. Working knowledge of test equipment. Including oscilloscope digital test meters insulation test meggers hand held programmers and 4 to 20 ma source meters.
- Strong computer background including PC hardware experience with Microsoft Word Excel and Windows
- Must possess a general knowledge of Local Area Network; ability to read and understand schematics utilize PC and PLC for diagnostics and troubleshooting; have experience with AC/DC voltages ranging from 5 to 480 volts; have experience with electrical wiring in accordance with the National Electric Code; experience with Instrumentation motor and process controls and experience with repairing and maintaining all types of equipment.

Compensation Package:$47.67USD hourly bonuseligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience skill set education/training and other organizational needs.
