Job Description

Your future role:
Are you passionate about electrical manufacturing and ready to take your skills to the next level Join our team and play a key role in building the future of Next Generation Trams (NGT) as a Manufacturing Technician Electrical. This is a permanent full-time role based at our Dandenong Manufacturing Site.

A bit about your new role:

  • Manufacture electrical looms and cubicles for NGT trams.
  • Train and mentor new operators on electrical harness assembly.
  • Operate power tools and metalworking machinery.
  • Perform self-inspections and ensure top-notch quality.
  • Maintain a clean safe and efficient work environment (5S).
  • Collaborate with team leaders and escalate issues when needed.

All about you:

  • A strong electromechanical mindset.
  • Experience in Electrical manufacturing industry.
  • Trained in special processes (crimping torquing bonding).
  • Skilled in using power tools and interpreting work instructions.
  • Minimum 5 years experience manufacturing electrical looms and harnesses for Light Rail Vechicle Flexity 2 platform
