Job Description

Contribute to a core technology team designing developing and validating advanced solutions for future Apple characterization test and validation aspects of our cutting-edge sensing systems spanning from early lab prototypes to complete system maturityDesign and implement complex lab-based experiments followed by thorough analysis supported by and execute lab automation for products data-driven analysis to support decision-making processes.


  • Ability to work on-site for more than 20 hours per week (minimum of 2.5 days).
  • Preferred: PhD or MSc student with remaining tuition of 2-3 years.
  • Required academic background: or in Electrical Engineering (EE) Physics Computer Science (CS) or Mechanical Engineering (ME).
  • Hands-on experience with: Matlab and/or Python (2-3 years) - Essential


  • Optical Lab/test equipment (Interferometers Spectrometers and Ad-Hoc optical table setups) - Preferred
  • Robotics - Preferred
  • Lab automation - Preferred
  • Shown team-playing and self-learning capabilities.
