Location: Basingstoke - Evidence Management Unit

Hours:Full time 37 hours per week

Salary: SO1 35526.00 - 37629.00 per annum

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will support the Force priorities through the supervision and leadership of the Evidence Management staff ensuring the provision of an efficient Evidence Management service effectively meeting operational demands.

Key accountabilities include but are not limited to:

1. Ensure the security of the Evidence Centre and all exhibits.

2. Supervise the daily activities planning workloads allocating tasks andensuring compliance with agreed practices and legislation.

3. Promote the development of the evidence staff through training one to ones objectives and performance reviews.

4. Ensure departmental performance goals are met and the delivery of ahigh level service.

5. Oversee the maintenance of safety standards and conduct riskassessments.

6. Provide regular reports to senior management as required.

7. Maintain effective communications with all stakeholders in relation tothe provision of an Evidence Management service.
