Job Description

Job Title: Associate Electrical Engineer

Location: Greenville TX

Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking qualified individuals to join our Aeronautical Systems Engineering team as an Electrical this role you will learn to design and develop electrical systems for the integration of electrical/electronic equipment on military/commercial aircraft and ground stations. Electrical Engineers have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks and aircraft systems on numerous aircraft platforms.

Essential Functions:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Create system wiring diagrams circuit breaker panels control panels and other items using CAD (Computer Aided Design)tools
  • Research and preparation of engineering drawings and coordination of design activities with Systems Engineering Manufacturing and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost
  • Designs can include development of Avionics Systems RF LAN Data Processing Power Distribution Systems Electrical Loads analysis Load shedding scheme to name a few along with the opportunity to support testing and integration of systems on the aircraft

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electrical Engineering Technology Computer Science degree or related technical degree at an accredited university
  • Good computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to travel to and from flight line and work in aircraft hangar environments (some positions will require the ability to board/exit aircraft)
  • Willingness to travel

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Skills/Knowledge of with CAD and PLM software including NX and Teamcenter
  • Knowledge of Siemens Capital software
  • Understanding of basic aircraft systems
  • Systems integration experience

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in California Massachusetts New Jersey Washington and the Greater D.C Denver or NYC areas is $70500.00 MIN - $129500.00 MAX. The salary range for this role in Colorado state Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York state and Vermont is $61000.00 MIN - $113000.00 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
