Job Description:
The Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment of L3Harris is currently seeking an experienced Facilities professional for our Huntsville - Missile Solutions (MSSL) Headquarters location. The selected candidate will support the Facilities function in oversite of the outsourced Facilities Services Providers assist in developing annual budget(s) track expenditures prepare variance analysis reports manage projects and participate on several cross functional committees including the EH&S Council and the Business Resilience Plan. This individual will also support the Missile Solutions Capital investment plans by analyzing expenditures and preparing and leading monthly status reviews for executive leadership across six locations.
Essential Functions:
- Real property maintenance repairs and other Facilities services at the HQ building utilizing various service providers.
- Support the annual MSSL Capital budget implementation across 6 locations.
- Coordinate and lead monthly reviews assist in developing funding authorization requests lead the development and updates of standard project schedules analyze expenditures and provide monthly forecasts.
- Manage Facilities projects at the HQ.
- Support the HQ Business Resilience plan including annual desktop exercises.
- Prepare Autocad building layouts and other assigned responsibilities in support of the Aerojet Rocketdyne Facilities Council.
- Travel: 10%
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 6 years of prior facilities engineering experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior facilities engineering lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years of prior facilities engineering experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Industrial Engineering experience is preferred.
- Proficient in Computer-Aided Design specifically Autocad.
- Use of various computer systems and applicable software programs to produce reports project schedules and spreadsheets.
- Understanding of Safety regulations principles and practices.
- Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in managing facilities renovation and construction projects.
- Certified Project Manager a plus.
- Self-starter who is capable of working toward established goals with minimal day to day direction.
