Get to Know the Team
The Product Operations Team sits at the intersection of strategy execution and scale being the connective tissue between product business and on-the-ground teams. We accelerate product outcomes by building and allowing the people systems and tools to grow product sustainably across the region.
We work with team members to ensure that product solutions are innovative operationally practical and locally relevant. Our scope spans the entire product lifecyclefrom go-to-market planning and feature rollouts to performance monitoring and continuous feedback loops. Whether its Mobility Deliveries or Safety our mission is to lead product excellence and operational readiness at scale.
Get to Know the Role
Reporting to the Head of Product Operations the Product Operations Manager will help optimize our product development lifecycle ensure efficient operations and lead agreement between product business and other teams. Were looking for an operational expert who is execution-driven in the Product Operations space.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- You will work closely with team members and product teams to learn operational workflows and design solutions for automation after standardizing and optimizing processes end to end.
- You will meet with product teams to gather and document requirements for effective solution design.
- You will propose design optimizations to enhance the overall solution architecture.
- You will study existing processes and write queries to extract data from the database for analysis.
- You will design solutions and build databases to facilitate automation.
- You will write Python scripts for data processing analysis and connecting with other services via API.
- You will own the continuous improvement agenda by gathering feedback identifying friction points testing solutions and iterating to optimize processes.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- At least 4 years experience working with Python R MySQL and other SQL languages.
- Understanding of data analytics data processing and scripting.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable operational systems and processes (bonus: track record of successfully leading complex cross-functional initiatives from start to finish)
- Possess some experience working with product management tools (e.g. Jira) and collaboration platforms (e.g. Slack).
- Communication skills in interacting with and influencing multiple cross-functional stakeholders and management.
- Proactive problem solver with experience breaking down ambiguous issues into component parts to develop solutions.
