Job Description: Senior Full Stack Engineer (React Java)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong emphasis on frontend development using and solid backend expertise in Java. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in building scalable performant web applications across the stack. This role involves designing and implementing end-to-end features mentoring junior developers and driving engineering excellence. Familiarity with Python is a plus especially for scripting automation or data-driven features.
Responsibilities
Your technical responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex responsive and accessible UI components using TypeScript and modern CSS frameworks.
- Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers designers and engineers to define and deliver new features.
- Optimize full-stack applications for performance scalability and maintainability.
- Lead code reviews enforce best practices and ensure high standards of code quality and test coverage.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services ensuring robust data flow and error handling.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps practices for seamless deployment and monitoring.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in frontend and backend development and evaluate new tools and technologies for adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in full stack development with a strong focus on and Java.
- Proficiency in JavaScript TypeScript HTML5 and CSS3.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux Zustand or Recoil.
- Solid understanding of unit testing and integration testing using tools like Jest React Testing Library or JUnit.
- Strong backend development experience with Java including frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL MongoDB or MySQL.
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs GraphQL and API integration best practices.
- Experience with responsive design cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Familiarity with Git CI/CD pipelines and tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working in agile teams.
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG).
- Familiarity with Python for scripting automation or data processing tasks.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and API gateways.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
- Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2 JWT or OpenID Connect.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
