Position Overview
The CLS Landscape Technician is responsible for the maintenance care and enhancement of client turf and grounds landscape projects and services working with various tools and equipment to ensure landscapes and outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing.
Job Duties
What Youll Do:
- Cultivate your green career with us!
- Learn to properly plant trim mow weed mulch and so much more.
- Learn to diagnose insect disease and cultural/environmental turf and shrub conditions.
- Maintain open communication with management and clients to provide feedback on landscape needs.
- Drive use maintain and properly operate equipment
- Maintenance of commercial properties including mowing of turf string trimming and spraying of weed control.
- Operation of maintenance equipment such as mowers Bobcats trucks and trailers.
Qualifications
Skills Were Seeking:
- Love of the outdoors
- Preferred: Background in Forestry Horticulture or Landscaping
- Preferred: Turf Weed Tree and shrub ID Pathology and knowledge of turf or tree physiology
- Ability to complete the Davey Landscape career development books upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Valid drivers license
- Preferred: Class A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
- Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates if required by state law
- 1 years of experience in the Landscape industry preferred .
- Experience with lawn mowing equipment and 2 Cycle equipment preferred.
- Experience in Landscape Maintenance preferred.
