Job Description
Electrical:
Install maintain and repair electrical equipment including motors transformers MCC panels and distribution boards.
Monitor and maintain power supply systems including HT/LT lines VFDs and generators.
Conduct preventive maintenance and breakdown analysis for kilns presses and furnaces.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations (e.g. earthing overload protection).
Coordinate with EB authorities for supply-related issues and metering systems.
Instrumentation:
Calibrate and maintain sensors controllers and transmitters (temperature pressure flow level).
Monitor and troubleshoot kiln temperature control systems SCADA/DCS interfaces and PLCs.
Handle programming testing and commissioning of field instruments and control panels.
Maintain control and automation systems used in batching weighing and material handling.
Support energy efficiency and automation projects to reduce downtime and enhance productivity.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of industrial instrumentation and electrical schematics.
Familiarity with PLCs (e.g. Siemens Allen-Bradley) VFDs and SCADA systems.
Experience with kilns thermocouples infrared sensors and refractory-specific equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain both analog and digital systems.
Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
