Job Description

Energetic Personality Needed for a Customer Service Representative - Omaha NE

Founded in 2004 The Filter Shop a leading distributor of commercial and industrial air and liquid filtration products has been rapidly growing. With locations in Omaha NE and Des Moines IA the company is set to open a third location in Lincoln NE in the summer of 2025 were proud to be built on excellence integrity and a commitment to creating Raving Fans through exceptional service.

Were seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide remote support to our Lincoln location as well as on-site support in Omaha. Youll play a key role in connecting with customers supporting office sales and warehouse operations - making every customer interaction exceptional.

What Youll Do:

Be the friendly face and voice of The Filter Shop:

  • Answer phones greet customers process walk-in orders and manage customer emails.

Keep things running smoothly behind the scenes:

  • Accurately enter/manage orders invoices and customer paperwork.
  • Send orders to Lincoln location and follow up to ensure receipt.

Support delivery and operations:

  • Schedule deliveries update accounts maintain filing systems and generate daily reports.

Drive sales success:

  • Convert quotes into sales orders for sales reps.
  • Assist Sales Reps in onboarding new customers - gather info contact customer to verify provided info and enter customer account into QuickBooks with accuracy.
  • Provide office support to Lincoln sales reps.

Work with inventory and fulfillment:

  • Manage will-call area pull orders and notify customers.
  • Monitor Lincoln production orders to ensure completion in a timely manner.

Become a product expert:

  • Become proficient in our FilterTrack system to support account setup and customer training.

Collaborate cross-location:

  • Maintain communication with both Lincoln Warehouse and Office Managers to ensure alignment with office processes and service excellence.

What Were Looking For:

  • A multitasking pro with a positive can-do attitude
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across phone email and in-person
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar platforms a big plus
  • Prior customer service experience required
  • HVAC or filtration industry knowledge is helpful but not required
