Network Engineer DAF Networks
Location negotiable across NSW (subject to campus availability)
Temporary full-time until 30 June 2026
$141364 package includes base salary ($124547- $137476) per annum plus employers contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role
The Network Engineer is responsible for overseeing a large program of network installations as well as monitoring and maintaining the organisations Digital Solutions Group network and transitioning to new network hardware and software and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary.
About You
As a key member of the project team you will provide engineering and design support and leadership for the project team and team members and champion the strategy roadmap and architecture across the campus network. We are seeking a capable and energetic IT professional to join our team where you will apply your industry knowledge to secure innovate and build strategies that will foster and facilitate the exciting network transformation program involving new Wi-fi and Switching and a change or network topologies to enrich and improve our services to our TAFE NSW staff and students.
Highly Regarded
- Experience configuring and supporting Wireless Access Points Switches SD-WAN and network engineering support for Aruba/HPE and Juniper vendors stacks
Wi-Fi design experience across site surveys RF planning capacity analysis 802.1x EAP-TLS NAC and policies
Experience in development and support for network macro and micro segmentation
Experience in development and support for Zero Trust Security Architecture
- Experienced SME in Routing Switching Firewalls and Wireless
- Proven ability to self-manage in a fast-paced environment with competing demands across project management activities.
