.We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Laser Tube Operator to join our manufacturing team. The Laser Tube Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal tubing components according to specifications. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of laser cutting technology attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.- Set up and operate laser cutting machines to cut metal tubing according to job specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings blueprints and work orders to determine cutting requirements.
- Load and unload metal tubing onto/from the laser cutting machine.
- Adjust machine settings such as speed power and focal length to optimize cutting quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on laser cutting equipment including cleaning lubricating and replacing parts as needed.
- Inspect finished tubing components for quality and accuracy making adjustments to the cutting process as necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of job orders material usage and machine maintenance
Pay Range:
