Launch Controller

Aston Martin is assembling a new and dynamic team at the heart of vehicle development. As a Supply Chain Launch Leader youll lead the planning and execution of new model introductions and engineering changes across both manufacturing sites. This is a high-impact role that blends strategic coordination supplier engagement and hands-on problem solving to ensure readiness across the entire Supply Chain.

The Launch & Change Control department is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensuring supply chain readiness to confirm OK to build. Your contribution will be central to bringing design changes to lifesafely efficiently and without disruption.

In a typical week youll collaborate closely with Production Purchasing Engineering and Logistics teams to align build milestones and resolve issues. Youll create timing plans and deliverables aligned to the overall programme timeline alongside ensuring adherence to target dates. Time will be split between onsite meetings shop floor walkthroughs and travel to supplier locations. Youll also track performance metrics coordinate Open to Go meetings and take ownership of risk mitigation planning.

This role offers exceptional visibility and influence within the business. Youll be part of gateway reviews supplier discussions and launch meetings that shape the future of Aston Martins most iconic supercars and hypercars. Your problem-solving will be hands-on and purpose-driven making a real difference in production outcomes.

You should be someone who builds trust across functions and suppliers with strong coordination and communication skills that keep everyone aligned. The role calls for strategic thinking excellent organisation and the ability to present and justify recommendations with authority and clarity.

Youll bring experience in new model introductions and engineering change. Leadership capability is required as is comfort working with cross-functional teams at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential and a degree or higher diploma is preferred. Familiarity with Aston Martins Product Creation System or Mission is advantageous.

While the role is primarily based onsite there is flexibility where needed to support well-being and working style. Travel to suppliers is a key component offering valuable insight into part readiness and supplier performance.
