MainStreet Family Care Physician Assistant Preceptorship Program -- Quincy FL
Overview:The MainStreet Family Care Preceptorship Program is designed to provide aspiring healthcare professionals specifically physician assistants with hands-on experience and mentorship in a dynamic urgent care setting. This program aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical clinical skills preparing individuals for successful careers in healthcare.
Program Highlights:
- Duration:The preceptorship program typically spans a month or semester long offering participants a comprehensive understanding of urgent care operations.
- Mentorship:Participants will work closely with experienced healthcare professionals who will serve as mentors providing guidance and support throughout the program.
- Clinical Exposure:Gain exposure to a wide range of patient cases enhancing clinical skills and promoting critical thinking in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration:Engage with a collaborative healthcare team including physicians family nurse practitioners/physician assistants medical assistants and support staff.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited physician assistantprogram.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Desire to work in urgent care preferred.
- Havean active affiliation agreement*
Application Process:
- Submit a comprehensive resume and answer the application questions.
- Qualified candidates will then be contacted to set up a brief phone screening where you will learn more about our program and get the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
- Following the phone screening candidates will schedule a 45-minute interview with our Clinic Management team.
- If we then feel that you would be a great fit for our preceptorship program we will begin trying to match you with a qualified preceptor at a clinic near will be then contacted with theirplacement information.
- Candidates will receive a welcome letter and complete the onboarding process.
