We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused marketing leader to drive U.S. consumer marketing for our dry eye prescription portfolio. This role will lead the development and execution of consumer strategies that elevate brand awareness drive patient engagement and support brand performance across multiple channels. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in pharmaceutical marketing a passion for consumer insights and a proven ability to translate strategy into impactful campaigns.
A typical day includes:
- Lead U.S. Consumer Strategy & Execution
Own the end-to-end consumer marketing strategy for the dry eye prescription portfolio ensuring alignment with brand objectives and market dynamics. - Annual Brand Planning
Lead the annual planning process for assigned brand(s) including cross-functional collaboration and integration of consumer insights competitive intelligence and business priorities. - Tactical Execution
Execute against the tactical plan for patient targets ensuring seamless integration across touchpoints. - Media & Advertising Leadership
Oversee the development and execution of brand media plans advertising campaigns and consumer marketing programs. Partner with agencies to deliver high-impact creative and media strategies. - Performance Management
Monitor brand performance against targets and optimize programs based on KPIs ROI and evolving market conditions. - Channel & Campaign Development
Lead the development and execution of integrated channel plans including digital social CRM and in-office patient engagement. - Insight-Driven Strategy
Drive insight development across business category and competitive trends. Translate insights into actionable strategies and proactively adjust plans to close performance gaps. - Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with internal partners including US Marketing Global Marketing and Market Research to ensure alignment and executional excellence.
What youll bring to Alcon:
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 18 yrs.; Assoc.14 yrs.; M.S.7 yrs.; PhD6 yrs.)
- The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English
- 10 Years of Relevant Experience
- 6 Years of Demonstrated Leadership

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business or related field; MBA preferred.
- 10 years of marketing experience preferably pharmaceutical with at least 3 years in consumer marketing.
- Experience in eye care or dry eye therapeutic area preferred.
- Proven success in leading brand strategy media planning and campaign execution.
- Strong analytical skills and experience managing brand P&L.
- Excellent leadership communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
