Job Description: Facility Space Manager
Overview of the Position: ECOMPEX Inc. a premiere Government Contract (Gov-Con) service provider is seeking a Facility Space Manager to provide supportive services for our government client. This position is On-site.
The ECOMPEX career position supports the following:
- Develops and maintains the Facility Space Optimization Plan (FSOP) to support strategic goals and guide efficient facility investment and space optimization decisions.
- Leads space allocation reviews and authorization calculations ensuring proper alignment between mission requirements facility standards and real property data.
- Conducts facility surveys and audits to verify space usage identify inefficiencies and support decisions on reuse consolidation or divestiture.
- Works closely with planners engineers and leadership to integrate space planning with installation development goals and long-range capital planning.
- Reviews and evaluates space requests building use and utilization metrics to recommend practical solutions and corrective actions.
- Analyzes planning data and facility metrics to support reporting briefings and strategic planning across installation stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have an active Secretsecurity clearance.
- Must have strong knowledge of engineering and planning principles applied to facility space management and optimization with space management experience preferred.
- Skilled in analyzing complex facility space issues and adapting policies and methods to develop effective solutions.
- Experienced in using IT tools and authoritative data sources like Geospatial Systems SMS and NexGen IT.
- Proficient in data collection analysis and visualization tools including GIS CADD and project tracking software.
- Strong oral and written communication skills able to clearly explain how facility planning impacts installation mission and goals.
