Position Summary

The Bar Staff is responsible for delivering fast friendly and professional beverage service to festival attendees. This role plays a key part in creating a fun and positive guest experience by efficiently serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks while adhering to all safety and compliance standards.

This role pays an hourly rate of $11.00 and is tip eligible.

Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.

This position will remain open until August 15 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately

  • Check identification to ensure minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption are met

  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately using POS systems

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar stations including restocking supplies

  • Comply with all local state and venue alcohol service regulations

  • Follow health and safety standards including proper sanitation and hygiene practices

  • Work collaboratively with other bar staff and festival team members

  • Assist with setup and breakdown of bar areas as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 or 21 years of age (based on local/state alcohol laws)

  • Previous bartending or beverage service experience preferred

  • TABC certification or equivalent (or willingness to obtain)

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Reliable punctual and able to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays

  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

  • Team-oriented with a professional and upbeat attitude
