Department: Information Technology
Job Title: IT Analyst
Salary: $27.52 - $34.80



Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual for an entry-level technical position within our IT team. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including helpdesk support for beginning to intermediate requests computer and electronic equipment installation IT inventory management software installation and configuration and a range of financial and administrative tasks. This position operates in a fast-paced environment supporting on-site and remote users with troubleshooting installations and maintenance tasks.

Additionally the role involves collaboration with IT personnel and vendors for complex issue resolution assisting in user training and participating in significant IT projects.

Essential Functions:
The following duties are representative but not all-inclusive:

  • Helpdesk Support: Respond to requests via in-person phone remote connection or email. Track and monitor tickets using helpdesk software and provide new user training and system updates. Troubleshoot workstations mobile devices VoIP systems printers network devices and user software.
  • Hardware and Software Maintenance: Upgrade PC hardware/software for compatibility and performance. Conduct routine maintenance and perform quality assurance testing for software.
  • IT Inventory Management: Maintain inventory database throughout the equipment lifecycle perform asset audits and manage surplus property.
  • User Training: Assist in developing training materials and conducting one-on-one or group training sessions.
  • Research and Procurement: Evaluate hardware/software provide recommendations and support procurement processes. Track maintenance and licensing renewals.
  • Project Assistance: Support planning and implementation phases of IT projects in collaboration with departments and vendors.
  • Administrative and Financial Tasks: Coordinate budgetary information with departments maintain accurate records and assist in balancing the IT budget.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school OR two years of relevant experience OR a combination of education and experience.
  • Certification:
    • Valid Drivers License.
  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong technical knowledge of operating systems application suites file structures and hardware.
    • Familiarity with devices such as smart telephones VOIP systems tablets printers and copiers.
    • Exceptional language mathematical and reasoning skills.
    • Ability to draft and interpret technical documentation.

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this Job the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:
This position operates in a collaborative environment where multitasking and adaptability are key.

Salary and Benefits
This is an hourly non-exempt position with a wage range of $27.52 - $34.80 per hour. The pay range listed here reflects the FULL pay range for this position for the current fiscalyear. Salary offers are based on the candidates equivalent experience and internal equity with other employees within the same job classification.
