Description
Mission:
To create a welcoming first connection for guests andmembers entering the Canyon Ridge campus having a clearknowledge of events classes services and staff to be the resource for questions and providing a culture that connects with empathy andhelpfulness as a consistent experience in the front office.
Outcomes:
- Welcomes and assists any guests who enter theoffice; answers any questions they may have and connects them to their next step
- Become knowledgeable of current events at Canyon Ridge able to easily answer questions
- Answers phone calls and voicemails as needed answering questions or directing the calls to the appropriate person
- Build a volunteer team to cover lunch hour staff meetings etc; giving them a place to serve grow and use the gifts and talents theyve been given. When people come to the office needing help this person assists them and/or takes their information; they are prepared to meet the needs of staff members when necessary. This also encompasses POC (Pastor On Call)
- Receives andsorts outphysical mail signs for packagesandpreparesmail for USPS UPS and FedEx pick-ups. Refill and Upkeep of Postage Machine.
- Receivesresponds and forwards correspondence from Assists with various office duties as directed including but not limited to the following: such as printingcutting shredding and helping with way finder signs; SharePoint requests; Lost and Found
- Able to lift 25-35 lbs
- Take guests on campus tours
- Embodies our values at the front desk leading with love for everyone who comes through the door
Qualifications
Competencies:
- Positive upbeat and good-natured attitude even in difficult awkward or annoying situations
- High level of organizational skills
- Professional communicator and good listener
- Coachable and approachable
- Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Flexibility and being a team player
Required education:
High School Diploma or GED
