Job Description

Retail Engineering Apple Online Store(AOS) Quality team is looking for a motivated and talented engineer to join our team. To be successful you must be a strong programmer proficient at thoroughly testing applications and build test automation tools and helping improve team velocity through automation. We are looking for highly-technical engineer who can continually research and apply the newest technologies to test engineering independently and collaboratively tackle issues and influence the teams to adopt the best test practices. Deeply engage with the engineering teams through all phases of development.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- QA Automation & Testing experience on Web applications with a consistent track record detecting and writing bug reports.
- Experience in testing API/Web Service and Web applications. Hands-on experience on Core Java Karate RestAssured Playwright/Selenium Appium/XCUI
- Proficiency in Java Python Javascript ReactJS NodeJS
- Solid understanding of software build tools CI/CD integrations deployment process and code quality checking tools
- 5 years of strong QA Automation & Testing experience on Web applications with a consistent track record detecting and writing bug reports.
- Previous experience supporting eCommerce platforms or Retail/Payment systems.
- Familiarity with Project Management principles including Agile methodology and D2P (Development to Production) processes.
- Experience with Testing of AI/ML applications security and accessibility testing is good to have.
- Experience developing frameworks from scratch using industry best practices
- Proven ability to partner and communicate multi-functionally and to seek out information when required
- Able to work independently and take the ownership of the project.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to autonomously solve problems as well as collaborate with your team
- Solid understanding of NoSQLs like Couchbase MongoDB etc and caching strategies
- Experience in Maven/Gradle and Git repositories is required
- Expertise in building and maintaining test beds test environments and automated data driven test suite
- Experience with data visualization and analysis tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Ability to simplify and present complex technical issues in a clear concise manner.
