Job Description
Job Overview
The purpose of this position is to enhance the restaurant by ensuring dishes exiting the kitchen meet the standards set and satisfy the expectations of our guests.
General Responsibilities
- Maintains standards of orders leaving the kitchen and ensuring the order is correct looks presentable and is being delivered efficiently and to the right tables.
- Arrange plates and sauces in accordance with the ticket instructions.
- Ensure plates coming off cook line are presented properly and meet restaurant standards laid out by Managers or Leads
- Required to remain informed on current menu items and options updates contents of these items and the items 86d from service.
- Maintain proper dining experience by delivering food clearing courses (pre-bussing) assisting in menu selection auditing food and drink presentation and verifying accuracy of orders placed and received.
- Maintains communication with management kitchen staff service staff and guests to ensure dining details are handled properly and guests concerns are addressed.
- Clean restock and maintain expo station while practicing exceptional safety sanitation and organizational skills.
- Assists with the cleaning sanitation and organization of kitchen and restaurant front of house as requested.
- Filling in for absent staff and assisting with special events as the business requires.
- Extend a prompt warm and welcoming greeting to all guests of the Resort.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
- Must have some familiarity with basic cooking skills.
- Performs additional responsibilities as requested by Manager or Leads at any time.
Job Qualifications
- Experience:
- Previous guest service and/or kitchen experience required.
- Excellent oral communication skills required.
- Positive interpersonal skills required.
- Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.

- Generally in an indoor setting
- Varying schedule to include evenings holidays and extended hours as business dictates
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to heat/cold from the mechanical equipment
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
