The Client
Join this well-established firm with offices just outside the city in Melbourne. With a team of approximately 25 staff they can offer a vibrant and friendly working culture with a wfh option and a strong salary package plus a bonus structure! Their clients are diverse and they range from small companies to large complex groups.
The Role
Take the opportunity to work closely with the Directors and move into a Partner role in the next 1-2 years (potentially even sooner!). Take responsibility of a client portfolio and work alongside a supportive and engaging team of accountants while you gradually step into the role as a Partner.
Duties may involve:
- Take ownership of a client portfolio
- Complete or coordinate the completion/ review of statutory compliance work including the following:
- Financial Statements
- Income tax returns and schedules
- Company secretarial requirements
- Business Activity Statements
- Be responsible for the development of solutions and providing advice
- Analyse clients performance for year-end tax planning
- Review and prepare management accounts
- Oversee more junior staff and review work
The Applicant
- 8 years local experience in Business Services & Tax
- University degree in Accounting Finance Commerce or related fields
- CA/CPA qualification in place
- Solid Microsoft Office skills
- Xero experience is an advantage for this role
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
