Tradesperson

Cannon Automotive Solutions a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Tradesperson in our Windsor Ontario Cold Stamping Facility. The tradesperson is responsible for supporting maintenance in supporting production. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a stamping environment be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance support to all areas of production ensuring both machines and facilities are maintained to operate in a safe and efficient manner
• Strong troubleshoot abilities to diagnose equipment failures routine and non-routine
• Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Perform repairs to machinery and plant support systems with regards to hydraulicpneumaticand mechanical repairs
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Stamping equipment line systems experience is an asset
• 3-5 years manufacturing environment working with industrial machinery
• Ability to work rotating shifts (days afternoons midnights)
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Post secondary education is a related field is an asset.
