Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Automotive Detailer with a positive attitude willing to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Detailer you will be responsible for transforming vehicles into pristine showroom-quality conditions. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the appearance and overall value of the dealerships new and used inventory as well as our customers vehicles. This is a great entry-level position in a dealership that loves to promote from within for continued growth!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean wax polish refurbish and detail vehicles as provided by the Sales Department Service Department and Collision Center.
- Inspect finished products to ensure the highest quality service.
- Understand and deliver upon specific customer requirements.
- Operate and maintain detailing equipment to ensure their optimal performance and longevity. Report any safety issues immediately to management.
- Keep the detail department clean organized and safe at all times.
- Directly report any damage to the proper manager in a clear and timely fashion.
- Coordinate and arrange work effectively with team members.
- Perform other various duties as assigned by the department managers such as vehicle photos moving vehicles filling vehicles with fuel maintaining showroom and display units applying window stickers etc.
Qualifications
- Previous experience detailing vehicles and having basic automotive knowledge is preferred.
- Hardworking with the eagerness to learn grow develop and improve.
- Positive attitude with ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work efficiently managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must maintain a valid drivers license.
- Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check.
