Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery improvement research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.

  • Fixed term until August 2026

DEPARTMENT

The Medical Workforce Unit manages 1800 medical staff appointments including recruitment onboarding employment contracts orientation credentialing rostering implementation of Enterprise Agreements and providing advice on industrial relations matters.

ROLE

We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Administrator to join a high functioning and supportive Medical Recruitment team. Recruitment Administrator Medical Workforce is responsible for providing administrative support for the recruitment team.

This is a busy and varied role where no two days are the same. Some of the key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Administering the portfolio of the International Medical Graduates application process of Medical Registration - Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and Australian Visa Sponsorship. Ensure Unit(s) and other stakeholders are kept up to date with application progress and timelines for commencement.
  • Drafting employment contracts/letters and onboarding management for all Junior Medical Staff (JMS) including any staff variations
  • Managing the credentialing process for procedural JMS

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • A degree in Business Human Resource Management Health Sciences or Public Health or other suitable qualifications would be highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency including MS Word MS Outlook MS Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • You must be proactive process driven and be able to work towards tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and talk to various stakeholders
