Job Description
As a Software Integrity Engineer in the Intelligent System Experience organization you will screen and triage incoming bug reports analyze logs and prioritize user feedback and bug reports. You will help our engineering teams spot emerging trends from issues filed by Apple employees external developers and users before they reach customers. Triaging will involve analyzing diagnostic logs and internal analytics and you will contribute to our triaging efficiency by building maintaining and using automation tools. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the devices billions of users rely are looking for an enthusiastic curious and technically savvy teammate who can juggle a variety of tasks efficiently. As a driving force behind the system experience on all Apple platforms including iOS iPadOS watchOS tvOS visionOS and macOS your contributions will help continue to push forward the devices that countless users rely on. - One year of experience diagnosing and triaging software issues.
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field; 2 years of relevant professional experience may substitute for the educational requirement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to strictly manage time spent triaging issues to ensure timely turnaround
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive self-motivated and detailed in every aspect of diagnosis and documentation
- Eagerness to learn new things and grow your skills on the job
- Experience diagnosing and triaging software issues
- Experience with bug/issue ticketing systems is a plus
- Experience with scripting languages such as Javascript and Python is a plus
At Apple base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $112500 and $231700 and your base pay will depend on your skills qualifications experience and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apples discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apples Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
