Principal Technical Business Architect Data Governance
Contract Length: 12 months potential extension
Location: Dallas Texas Hybrid (3-4 days onsite downtown Dallas)
**Applicants must already be local to the Dallas area**
We are seeking a Principal Technical Business Analyst/Architect to lead strategic architecture initiatives that bridge enterprise technology with evolving business needs. This high-impact role drives enterprise architecture alignment across portfolios defines future-state technology strategies and ensures scalable secure and value-driven solutions particularly in cloud (AWS) and enterprise application domains.
As a thought leader within the enterprise architecture function this individual will collaborate with senior stakeholders technology leaders and delivery teams to guide large-scale digital transformation and grid modernization programs.

As a thought leader within the enterprise architecture function this individual will collaborate with senior stakeholders technology leaders and delivery teams to guide large-scale digital transformation and grid modernization programs.
Qualifications:
- 12 years in IT with 8 years in architecture roles
- Proven experience influencing enterprise technology strategy
- Strong business acumen and ability to align technical solutions to organizational goals
- Deep understanding of cloud (AWS preferred) application modernization and architecture frameworks (TOGAF Zachman etc.)
- Experience leading enterprise initiatives across multiple domains (apps data security infrastructure)
- Strong grasp of regulatory compliance and cyber risk considerations
- Executive-level communication strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and evolve enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps across business units
- Partner with senior business and technology leaders to align architecture with strategic priorities
- Lead architectural governance including review boards solution assessments and policy enforcement
- Guide business capability modeling and target state architecture definitions
- Oversee integration of enterprise-wide initiatives across cloud application security and data domains
- Evaluate emerging technologies assess impact and drive innovation recommendations
- Provide architectural oversight for transformational programs ensuring delivery of scalable resilient and secure solutions
- Mentor solution and domain architects; promote architectural consistency and best practices
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders translating complex technical strategies into business-aligned outcomes
