Job Description
RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.
We are Hiring EU Healthcare Assistant to a leading Nursing home in Laois Ireland.
Permanent/full time
Responsibilities
- Helping patients with everyday tasks like eating dressing using the restroom and washing.
- Carrying out routine clinical duties such as monitoring patient conditions helping with mobility and recording vital signs.
- Keeping an eye on junior employees and making sure they follow care guidelines.
- Interacting with patients families and medical staff in an effective manner.
- Assisting with new hire training and making sure they comprehend their responsibilities.
- Reacting quickly to crises and provide the support that is required.
Requirements
- Outstanding interpersonal abilities
- There is no work permit sponsorship option available and we are exclusively hiring EU nationals for this role.
- Possesses an understanding of human motivation
- Able to deal with challenging personnel and disagreement.
- Competent at carrying out agreed-upon tasks.
- Completed FETAC level 5 certification in care
- A minimum of one year in a nursing home is preferred as is QQI Level 5 in Healthcare or a comparable certification.
