Job Type: Full-Time On-Site

Compensation: $60000 $70000 per year Full Benefits

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will bring a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP hands-on experience with general ledger accounting and a track record of supporting accurate and timely financial reporting. This role is vital to maintaining financial integrity and supporting decision-making throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with GAAP
Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Assist with the month-end quarter-end and year-end close processes
Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
Support internal financial reporting and audits
Collaborate with operations and finance teams to improve efficiency
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
Assist with implementation or enhancements of ERP/accounting systems
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting (required)
2 years of relevant accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Work Environment:
Full-time on-site role located in central Nashville
Typical hours: MondayFriday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
