Job Description
EnSafe is accepting applications for a Payroll Specialist based out of EnSafesMemphis TN office.
EnSafe is an employee-owned global environmental consulting and engineering firm. We strive to provide innovative creative solutions for our clients. EnSafe specializes in Environmental Management and Planning Civil Design Engineering Environmental Restoration Natural & Water Resources Health & Safety and Technology with offices operating within the U.S.
What We Are Looking For:
As a Payroll Specialist you will be part of our dynamic Accounting Department which fosters creativity collaboration at all levels a culture of support and professional growth. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for salaried and hourly employees using ADP Workforce Now.
- Review and verify timesheet records and approvals.
- Process special payments such as bonuses.
- Assist with payroll audits and year-end processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with HR on payroll-related matters.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records and files.
Qualifications:
- Two plus years of relevant payroll accounting experience
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Diligence accuracy and confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with administration and clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively diplomatically and with integrity in identifying problems.
- Possess strong organizational skills time management skills and be deadline driven.
Ideally you will also have
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
