Work location: Texas Health Dallas 8200 Walnut Hill Lane Dallas TX 75231
Work hours: Full Time/Evenings (11A-11P) 36 hrs/week; weekend and holiday requirements

Heres What You Need:
Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program required
6 months in an acute care hospital setting or completion of THR residency program required
LVN Licensed Vocational Nursing upon hire required and
BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and
NRP Essential Neonatal resuscitation Program within 90 days required and
CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days required
A high degree of confidentiality positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do:
Collaborates with team to facilitate hourly rounding and initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information.
Takes action to reduce/eliminate patient risks.
Collects data and reports significant findings to RN.
Safely administers medication in accordance with medication administration guidelines.
Uses nursing models to obtain adequate data to initiate implement and revise plans of care to meet patient physician and family needs.
