The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Guilderlandis currently seeking an Interim Administrator!

Long-Term Care
Location: Altamont NY
Temporary Full-Time

Are you an experienced leader in long-term care seeking a new challenge or a meaningful transition role We are currently seeking a dedicated Interim Administrator to provide leadership and operational oversight during a key transitional period at our skilled nursing facility.

This is an excellent opportunity for:
Assistant Administrators ready to step up
Directors of Nursing with strong operational skills
Administrators licensed in another state
Experienced department heads with deep industry knowledge

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and ensure regulatory compliance across the facility

  • Collaborate with department heads and staff to maintain high standards of care and operational efficiency

  • Serve as a point of contact for residents families and staff during the interim period

  • Support ongoing quality improvement initiatives and maintain survey readiness

  • Communicate effectively with corporate leadership and ensure smooth transition processes

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in long-term care operations

  • Prior experience in a leadership role (e.g. Assistant Administrator DON or equivalent)

  • Current Administrator license or eligibility based on experience and licensure in another state

  • Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to quickly adapt to a new environment and lead with confidence and empathy
