Job Description

Were looking for a People Services Specialist to join Procores People this role youll support our global workforce by delivering hands-on human resources support across a variety of operational functions. Youll help ensure smooth HR processes and compliance while enabling a positive and consistent employee experience.

As a People Services Specialist youll partner with HR Payroll IT Legal and other internal teams to manage employee lifecycle events maintain data accuracy and drive process improvements. Use your attention to detail communication skills and sound judgment to help deliver reliable timely and people-first support. This position reports to the Manager People Services and will be based in our Heredia Costa Rica office. Were looking for someone to join us immediately.

What youll do:

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes including background check monitoring documentation preparation and system task management

  • Prepare and issue employment-related documents such as offer letters agreements and employment verifications

  • Administer employee benefits and manage Workers Compensation claims

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries guiding employees to resources or internal partners

  • Triage and manage HR service tickets in Jira while maintaining accurate records in the HRIS

  • Generate and deliver reports to business leaders and key stakeholders to support workforce planning

  • Create and maintain SOPs and process documentation to ensure clarity and consistency across operations

  • Monitor and apply local labor laws and policy changes partnering with Legal to support compliance training and documentation

What were looking for:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred

  • 3 years of experience in HR operations or as an HR generalist

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities

  • Discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive employee matters

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

  • Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving abilities

  • Familiarity with tools such as Workday Jira Culture Amp Google Workspace Slack and Microsoft Office
