Job Description
Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Accountant who has prior experience managing the financial aspects of large-scale construction projects or programs. The ideal individual will have prior experience successfully managing and leading a team.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the development and implementation of financial strategies for major construction projects.
- Providing specialist financial and accounting advice to private sector clients across a variety of construction contracts.
- Preparing and managing project budgets forecasts and financial reports.
- Monitoring project costs and ensuring they align with the approved budget.
- Conducting financial analysis and reporting on project performance.
- Managing project billing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Building positive relationships within the project team and with Client personnel and their key advisors.
- Managing and updating internal financial trackers and supporting the financial capability of the project services division.
- Supporting the delivery of both team and wider business targets.
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role which are to be adhered to where applicable.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of applicable experience in project accounting preferably in the construction industry.
- Working knowledge and experience of various financial management systems and software.
- Experience in managing project budgets and financial reporting.
- Experience in implementing financial strategies including risk identification quantification and allocation.
- Proven ability to liaise with and coordinate multiple stakeholders to develop robust financial documents.
- Excellent communication skills.
Additional Information :
The salary range for this full-time role is $80K-$150K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range depending on candidates experience and qualifications.
