You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe PM Kitchen Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of evening kitchen operations at the DoubleTree by Hilton. This includes managing the culinary team ensuring food quality and safety standards maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and controlling food costs. The PM Kitchen Manager works closely with the Executive Chef to uphold Hilton brand standards drive guest satisfaction and support a safe and productive kitchen environment.
Supervise and coordinate evening kitchen operations including line prep service and closing procedures.
Ensure consistency in the preparation and presentation of all food items in accordance with Hilton and brand standards.
Monitor staffing levels to meet evening business demands and adjust as necessary to control labor costs.
Lead and train kitchen staff including line cooks and prep team providing performance coaching and enforcing policies as needed.
Maintain proper inventory levels; assist in ordering receiving and storing of food products.
Conduct line checks and monitor food quality portion control and kitchen cleanliness throughout the PM shift.
Enforce proper food handling and sanitation procedures as outlined by local health codes and Hilton safety standards.
Assist in the development of evening specials and menu enhancements.
Work with the banquet and restaurant teams to ensure smooth execution of dinner service and evening events.
Communicate clearly and effectively with front-of-house and management staff to ensure guest satisfaction and timely service.
Ensure kitchen is properly shut down cleaned and secured at the end of each PM shift.
Minimum 3 years of kitchen supervisory experience preferably in a hotel or high-volume restaurant environment.
ServSafe Certification required; culinary degree or formal training preferred.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Solid understanding of food costing inventory control and labor management.
Ability to work evenings weekends and holidays as business requires.
Ability to stand walk bend lift and move for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

In accordance with New York States Pay Transparency Law (New York State Labor Law Section 194-b) which requires private employers with four (4) or more employees to include a range of pay for all advertised jobs promotion or transfer opportunities. This position pays $55000-$64000 annually based on experience.
