The IT Technician Assistant will report directly to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for maintaining computer hardware and systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. Thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware and a variety of internet applications networks and operating systems. The IT technician will ensure our school sites and Network Support Office have working office equipment and tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
TB Test clearance & DOJ finger printing clearance
Demonstrated ability to work independently and be self-directed while also able to work collaboratively with staff and management
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines
Strong communication (written and verbal) organization and interpersonal skills
Excellent writing and analytical skills
Detail-oriented highly organized and motivated
Demonstrated computer aptitude and experience

Essential Functions
Take direction and collaborate with the IT Manager.
Performs full range of on-site maintenance and repairs on assigned products to include technical diagnostics break/fix installation removal and customer call assistance.
Manages inventory including lost and stolen equipment.
Requests assistance when necessary to meet schools demands and for reoccurring issues.
Shows measurable progress in technical abilities troubleshooting techniques and productivity. Creates Purchase Orders for needed equipment and services.
Responsible for maintaining a trunk stock inventory with a value at or below $1000.
Maintains effective relationships with staff.
Timely completion of invoices and expense reports. Performs full range of on-site maintenance and repairs on assigned products to include technical diagnostics break/fix installation removal and customer call assistance.
Organize and direct day-to-day activities of the office to assure efficient and effective operations; answer inquiries from staff parents and outside agencies; perform complex duties as requested.
Maintain integrity of data through various maintenance procedures and correction of integrity problems including; but not limited to anomaly resolution issues.
Maintain a wide variety of computerized and manual files records and related information by using different computerized systems such as employee and student databases etc.
Coordinate with Network Support Office and site staff to set up implement and maintain information systems.
Develops procedures to expedite transmittal of information or to facilitate implementation of policies programs and directives.
Establishes and maintains numerical alphabetical and subject matter files that may contain sensitive and confidential material.
Knowledge of:
Enterprise network configuration troubleshooting and design.
Organization policies and procedures of the assigned department or program.
Strong knowledge of G Suite for Education.
VOIP Cisco Call Manager.
Cisco Wireless Controllers / Aironet WAPs / ARRUBA Networks.
Google Chromebook Management and Enterprise Configuration.
