Position Summary:
Were seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join an experienced team tackling the challenge of real-time monitoring in a distributed system using Event Sourcing this role you will work on a core product that:
- Handles thousands of requests per second
- Processes millions of transactions
- Operates with terabytes of data
- Utilizes modern technologies (Kubernetes Data Streams the latest versions of Python and Go)
Youll have the opportunity to gain deep experience with AWS resources and work with highly loaded distributed systems. Youll also play a key role in shaping design and implementation decisions that drive the products growth and success. Key Responsibilities:
- Work with minimal supervision to implement complex methods and procedures within assigned problem domain
- Own the development test and deployment for an entire product
- Estimate new work with consideration and commitment
- Identify and communicate risk ambiguity complexity and dependencies
- Share knowledge of technical skills patterns and practices with the rest of the team
- Code review and mentorship of associates intermediates and other senior members on the team
- Work with business partners outside of you team to explain and champion high-level technology approaches

This is a hybrid role based in our Warsaw office.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Python Development including a minimum experience of 2 years of Asynchronous Python Development.
- Experience with AWS services particularly Lambda Kinesis S3 EC2 DynamoDB and SQS.- Azure or GCP experience is also accepted
- Familiarity with distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
- Experience working on high load backend services
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of Go Programming language
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch
- Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
