Description of the role:
The Sous Chef at Legacy at Cranberry Landing in Rochester NY plays a crucial role in the kitchen assisting the head chef in creating delicious meals and leading the kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the head chef in creating and executing menu items
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure high-quality dishes are served
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Help with inventory management and ordering supplies
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking methods and techniques
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
