DAM (Digital Asset Management) is Acquias SaaS solution that allows marketing creative and IT teams to move faster and stay on brand by making digital asset files easier to organize access and activate across multiple channels.
Acquia is seeking a Product Manager with the experience and drive to ensure Acquia DAM exceeds the needs of customers who are passionate about Digital experiences.
Expectations of the role
You will gain a deep understanding of the business landscape and be able to make sound decisions based on this understanding. You should be able to articulate the products value proposition clearly and convincingly driving buy-in from stakeholders across the organization. Further you will need to navigate the complexities of business models that Acquias platform enables.
You should be able to identify potential market trends understand their impact and incorporate this foresight into the product strategy. This will require you to balance the competing demands of various stakeholders while ensuring the products viability and competitiveness.
You will have a strong sense of empathy for the user; a high tolerance for ambiguity; the ability to navigate complex interconnected systems; and demonstrate good instincts for judging priority and risk. Together with an Agile team of engineers you will oversee a coordinated development approach and will be accountable for product delivery of customer value.
As a Product Manager you will
- Set a bold product vision strategy success metrics and roadmap for execution
- Internalize and deeply understand Acquia growth strategy and align your teams mission and roadmap with this direction
- Collaborate and work cross-functionally with various teams such as engineering design architecture and business stakeholders
- Partner with our customer facing teams to gather feedback and help inform product roadmap direction
- Inspire and lead your team and others to execute and deliver your vision and solutions to solve our customers biggest problems
- Ruthlessly prioritize your teams backlog to ensure your team is making maximum impact
- Work with technology partners as needed to integrate 3rd-party capabilities into the product
- Communicate timelines and status to R&D stakeholders
- UAT (User Acceptance Test) features to validate user needs will be met
- Coordinate deployment of new features and updates across 800 customers
- Partner with sales marketing and implementation teams on product feature launches and GTM (Go To Market) activities
What youll need to be successful
- Over 6 years of total exp and 2 years of relevant experience in Marketing Technology and/or Digital Product Management delivering enterprise solutions..
- Experience in digital media technology SaaS platforms or eCommerce.
- Comfort in a highly collaborative cross-functional team environment.
- Highly motivated organized self-starter that can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to take initiative and carry projects from start to finish.
- Independent and quick learner with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to be flexible and successful within a fast-paced and goal-driven environment.
- Experience in Agile & Scrum methodologies of product development including extensive experience gathering detailed requirements and writing functional designs.
- Passionate about building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Willing to work with some overlap during US business hours.
- BE/BS in computer science information systems business or equivalent experience.
