As a Merchandising Analyst for our Hispanic Market your role is to negotiate gross profit opportunities and sales programs with the vendor community.Job Description

Description
- Negotiate gross profit buying opportunities with vendors (buys/slotting/DPS/etc.) while maximizing bill out inventory profit (last buys before increases/bracket buys/alternate sourcing).
- Negotiate and execute promotional merchandising programs with vendor (ads/food show/block buys) including national merchandising.
- Manage proper execution of reconciliation of vendor incentives (quarterly monthly prepay OI) in order to ensure accuracy and proper timeliness from vendor community.
- Setup and maintain item and vendor data integrity (pricing/item accuracy/item changes/item assortment/category marketing info/lost margin resolution)
- Study and anticipate commodity changes to maximize revenue.
- Assist vendors and buyers with dead and excess inventory resolution.
- Interface with outside C&S departments as well as retail customers for resolutions IMS-Vendor relations and Prompt- AVS resolutions.
- Division representative for specific weekly company conference calls.
- Food-show coordinator; Merchandising key account contact / other retail contact.
- Vendor trade relations coordinator; candy program planning; trainer for C&S personnel.

Skills
- Basic computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel Word and PowerPoint.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Negotiation organization prioritization and problem solving skills.
Years Of Experience
- 2-5: Related industry experience (wholesale or retail).
